There have been many 1st's that Avery has done in the past 2 weeks and as a 1st time mommy it makes me happy and sad all in the same time. Happy cause I love wathcing my baby girl grow.. sad because she wont be my baby girl forever.
Wed.. Jan 19th... Avery was laying in her bassinet by our bed and jake was playing her the guitar... I was getting ready for bed when i hear "Babe come here." to walk in and see my baby girl sitting up in her bassinet... Shocked .. the 1st thing I said was..."Well I guess this def means its time to move you to your big girl bed."
I have anxiety when it comes to her and being far away from me for a long period of time.. So her being in a seperate room where i couldnt see her and just roll over and check on her all night made me start panicing. But i knew that it was time for her to go to her "big girl bed" .. we layed her in there she tossed and turned and cryed and cryed.. I took her out and brought her back into our bedroom and let her sleep with us that night. I just couldnt leave her in there crying and tossing and turning... We woke up early the next morning maybe that would help her sleep better later that night. Prayed over her and layed her down around 10... and she took her ba- ba and then fell right to sleep and SLEPT ALL NIGHT LONG... never woke up one time.... I was so thankful to God for letting her sleep all night and giving me a peace about her in her bed in another room. I only checked on her 2 times... Since then she has been sleeping in her "big girl bed" everynight , and has woken up maybe 2 times a night we give her her passy and she goes right back to sleep. What a Big girl...
then Sat..Jan 22nd.. the day before Avery turned 9 months old... we were eating luch at Olive Garden
and I was feeding Avery a bread stick and what did i find... She cut a tooth... My big girl cut a tooth.. I said Oh my Gosh she has a tooth and the lady at the table next to us told her daugther thats things you get excited about when you have a newborn and when you get older! lol .. But we were super excited.. she never really fussed bad or drooled like everybody said that she would. So there is another 1st... Her 1st tooth..
I havent goten a picture of it cause it is so little you really cant see it.. But you can feel it..
Tonight.. i put Avery in her bed around 9:30... went and got her PJs and fixed her a bottle.. I came back in and was taking her dress off to put her PJs on .. while she was sitting there waiting on me to put her PJs on.. she started getting brave.. she was sitting up and started reaching for the side of the bed.. so I stood there and watched to see if anything would happen... then not a minute later.. She STOOD UP in her bed... looking and me smiling with the biggest smile and laughing... I said JAKE COME LOOK.. he stopped doing his P90X and rushed in her room but to see her standing..he said did she do that or you put her up like that.. She did it , I said. So there again another 1st...
oh yeah i forgot to tell you too that she weights 21 lbs 11 oz and is 27 in long.. as of her doctor visit that was monday. My baby is 9 months old, and growing way to fast. Its bitter sweet! i love this little girl more than she will ever know.

Well thats all for now.. Im goin to start making a couple things for her birthday party and will post them and how to make them on here for all of you crafty people like me ! And if you have any cute ideas or crafty things that you have done please share them with me ! I would love to try them out. Also me and a friend are starting to coupon..
