A day in march 2014

This is when I 1st got my new camera!!! Had to take a pic with it. Of coarse. :)

Here are my beautiful girls. Playing their vtecs and posing on the porch for momma :)
I love my girls.
I love spending so much time with them.
It's such a blessing to me to be able to stay home with them.
Yes sometimes I get overwelmed and yes sometimes I get aggervated but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Trying my best daily to train them in the ways of the Lord , love on them , and play with them as much as possible.
They are only little once and this time on earth we get is only really as blink of an eye.
How are you spending your preciuos time?
At times I find myself on instagram or reading blogs for to long and I'm so upset with how much time I spent on them. Yes I love catching up looking at others photos and getting inspiration from other mothers. But it shouldn't be hours and hours in a day. Get off your.phone, turn off your computer and
get down on the ground and play with your babies, dance in the living room and sing to the top of your lungs, color pictures, and read books to those precious babies. They want you all the time right now , why not love on them and show them. :)

Be blessed,
Heather :)

St.Patricks Day 2014

St.Patricks Day fell on a monday this year. We dressed in our green and headed to Averys dance class.. She had to wear her ballet outfit but she wore a green bow.
Another mom of one of her dancemates said well at least someone celebrates St.Patricks day around here. She is originally from Russia , not even sure if they celebrate St.Patricks day there or not or how long she has lived in the states. But I was like yeah, we dont go all out but I have Irish in my family and we try and at least wear green =]
When we watched one of the girls Veggie Tales movie that told about St.Patricks day on there. I learned stuff from it also. Either I learned it in school and forgot it, they taught us and I didnt pay attention, or I never learned it . lol. But either way , I love when their Veggie Tales movies can teach me something too. Or let me look at a story from a different point of view!
If you have never seen Veggie Tales , I highly recommened it for your children! Good clean family movies that teach about biblical stories! We love them over here! = ]
Then I drew the girls a picture of a rainbow and pot of golds and let them paint their pictures. They love to do anything with paint. They get being creative from me =] But my hubby loved to build things and do DIY things also so really they get it from both of us =]
Here is a pic of the girls painting.

Happy St.Patricks Day!
Be Blessed!

Master Bathroom Redo

So for some reason in our house they had put carpet in the bathroom! I have no idea why anyone would ever want to put carpet in a bathroom. So we saved up a little money to be able to do some renos in it. My brother gave us this tile and grout , so thankful. So all we had to buy was the concrete boards underneath. We also bought stuff to fix the bathtub, new lights, a new toliet ,and paint.
We removed the carpet first, his old vanity, my vanity, and the toliet then started painting. I chose a light green color.
This was hubbys 1st time laying tile by his self. He has helped cut tile but never layed it. So it took a little longer for him to do it than we both thought. Like from 8am -10pm with a 1 hour lunch break. He was worn out. But the tile was layed and ready to be grouted.
We waited a couple days and then grouted the floor. Let it sit for a couple hours then had to get on our hands and knees and scrub it off.
For some reason I never ended up in any of the pics. lol But I promise I helped in between watching the girls. I like doing things like this. I dont want to just sit back and watch my hubby do it. I love DIY =]
Maybe because Ive watched my dad to construction my whole life. I just love it.
Still not finished with the bathroom but here is some pictures of the process.

We still have to get hubby a new vanity and close up a huge hole in the wall where he was looking at the pipes for our shower. But other than that things are looking great!

a look back on some great things in 2013

As I look back on 2013 , so many fun new adventures started this year. Avery turned 3, Annaliese turned 2, Jake graduated from Collage and got started his carrer as an engineer, and we cleared our land , renoed our mobile home, and moved into it.
We started going to a new church where we feel like we are being feed and growing so much.
Avery started taking Ballet classes.
Annaliese grew more into a toddler and started showing more and more of her personality.
2013 went by in the blink of an eye it seems like.
I have realized that you cant slow time down but you can make the most out of the time that you do have. Dont let things get to you so bad, dont hold onto grudges, take way to many pictures, laugh as often as you can, make sweet memories with your babies, go on dates with your husband, pray that God leads you in everystep that you take. Dont take for granted this short time that we have here on earth. Make a difference.

1 Peter 4:7-11
"The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gifts he has recieved to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."

I am excited for our 2014. Its already been a great year. Looking forward to our family vacations, our everyday lives, and any surprises that God has planned for us.
Be blessed and loved!

Blessings

When you hear blessings you can think of so many things great that the Lord has done in your life.
Or so many things that he has brought you out of and how blessed you are now.

Today I feel so blessed to have my beautiful healthy girlies.
I feel blessed everyday to have them and to be able to be there mommy, but there are some days I feel extra blessed. I love that the Lord chose me to be there mommy! I love getting to see them grow everyday and be able to stay home with them. Which is another wonderful blessing the Lord has given us. I pray the Lord leads my hands to teach them and that I can be the best example I can be to them. I'm considering homeschooling them also. If there is any tips or advice you may have about homeschooling you could share with me it would be very appricated.
Here are a couple new pics of them , when we had an improvto photo shoot on the side of the road in a field that I LOVE!

Also ,if anyone has any potty training tips for my 2 year old! I would love to hear. Bribing her doesn't seem to work.

Also, if anyone has any fun activities to do with a 3 1/2 and 2 year old pass them along too! =]
I love doing fun things with my girls and spring is here and would love to do more stuff outside =]

Thanks so much!
Feeling blessed and I hope you are too!
God Bless!

5 year anniversary

5 year anniversary with my handsome man. march 14 th.
somedays i think and it doesn't seem like its been that long and then again it seems like we have been together forever.
im so happy with our life together and this journey we are on together. we have had some ups and downs ,great times and sad times, but through it all we have stood side by side.
i cant wait to see what more the Lord has planned for us and all the new adventures we will have.

well friday march 14 th. our anniversary hubby was planning on getting off work at 12. well he did but when he called me to tell me he was off i knew something was wrong. he sai babe im so sick. maybe i can come home and lay down for a little bit and rest and maybe i will feel better to go out later to celebrate. so me trying to make our anniversary so special and better than last years ( we had a bad night for our 4th year) but anyways. i was trying to make our 5th so special and better than kast . i ordered us a cake to look just like the cake topper at our wedding, family/anniversary pictures for sunday and had a baby sitter planned for that night. well when he said that to me my first reaction prob wasnt the best affectionate wife that i should have been , but i was so so upset. and kinda was a little mean to my poor sick hubby. ( i felt horrible after ) he couldnt help he was sick ,he didnt plan it. he wanted our anniversary to be special too. so we sat at home on our anniversary night and tried to baby and make my hubby feel better. he even brought me home the prettiest roses and a sweet sweet card.

the next day march 15th, jake was feeling lots better. yay. and we had got challeneged for the cold water challange so he wanted to go jump into presleys lake to complete it , so we all loaded into his car and went down, jumped in the water took the cake and ate the cake in the camper with the girls. we fed it to each other like on our wedding day but this time i smuched it in his face instead of him in mine like on our wedding day . lol. the girls loved it.

we headed back home dropped the girls off at my parents went home and got dolled up. went into the front yard and had a mini photo session with just us with my new camera and my new cordless remote. :)

then we headed out to dinner. we went to a place called legacy bar and grill. it was very fancy. we opened the menu up and to our surprise they lit up. coolest thing ever. lol
the food was ok but the dessert was the best and they look our pic and printed it out for us. kinda pricey but it was good to try it out for a special occation.
we talked, laughed, took pictures, and just enjoyed being with each other.

oh and sunday for the pics i had sceduled, 100% chance of rain so they were canceled.
but everything worked out good and we ened up havung a wonderful memorable 5 year anniversary. our present to each other is a cruise !!! oh yeah! we leave on april 5th and we are so excited and ready for our 1st family vacation just our little family. no i couldnt leave my babies for a week so they are crusin it with us. cant wait. going to take to many pictures, laugh, eat to much, , have fun , and make lots of memories. we are all excited !!!

i love my hubby to infinity and beyond.
To many many more happy years!
