Easter Sunday! We also like to call it Resurrection Sunday!
We are christians and we believe that Jesus died for our sins and on the 3rd day rose from the dead!
(see Matthew 28 )
We had the girls some easter baskets and their little bible sitting out on the story on why we celebrate Easter. We are not doing the Easter bunny so all the goodies were from mommy and daddy.
They opened their Easter baskets and Daddy read the story of how Jesus wasnt in the tomb anymore and he was alive and lives in us.
Well we got all ready for church and headed out. On the way I got sick 4 times... so we decided not to go.. Very sad but I felt horrible. We went ahead and went to my Nanna and Pawpaws and I rested for awhile before everyone started to get there. Im so glad that after resting I felt fine. But we took a pic in our church clothes before we changed.
Everyone else got there and the kids were super excited to hunt easter eggs. So my hubby, my sis n law Leah, and myself went outside and hit the eggs. 2 had $1 bills in them. The kids waiting inside while we hit and then on the porch waiting for everybody to get outside looking over the yard before we said ,, ready set go!
So glad we were able to get my pawpaw out of his bed and outside in his wheel chair to watch the kids.

We had a great time and Nanna and Pawpaws then we headed over to my In Laws ! We got there and the girls opened their easter baskets , then me and the hubby went outside and hid the eggs. The girls were excited to be able to do easter eggs again. Just as excited as they were the 1st time. They absoulty loved it.

We love doing this every year at my In laws and now the girls are getting more involved the older they get and the love it too!

We are so blessed to have wonderful families and share these moments with them. We thank Jesus for dying for and being the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. No greater love.
