Homeschooling Preschool ~VS~ Church Preschool

May 12,2014 we started preschool at home with the girls. So far they are loving it and learning so much. I hope that they keep this love for learning. It is harder than in my mind what I was thinking but its going to be worth it. We will see how this goes and what the Lord has planned for me and the girls with homeschooling for their k-12. Preschool isnt that hard but when they start getting into older grades is where Im kinda nervous.  I was never a "smart" kid when it came with schooling but talking to other moms and looking up homeschooling info , you don't have to be the smartest. You just have to want to put in the effort with your children, sometimes you learn with them, and thats ok. I always want to try to be a step ahead . I am looking for a homeschool group in our area that I can start going to with the girls , for more info and insight on homeschooling. And its always a plus to make new friends =]

Here are the pics of their 1st day !!!

Well... Today is July 13th and I signed Avery up for Preschool at Agricola Baptist Church Preschool. I know I know.. man Heather you just wrote about homeschooling them... but it hit me light a ton of bricks . I am so nervous and have spent alot of time in prayer about it. I think its best for her to go to this preschool that I have heard awesome things about. She will continue to learn Bible verses and everything else academic related that will prepare her for kindergarden. I talked to this lady at the dentist office about what all her daughter had to learn at the Elem school that we are in the district for and WOW what kindergardeners have to learn now (at least in MS) is like what I was learning in 1st-2nd grade. So I got a little freaked about overwhelmed and didnt want my girl behind in her schooling. So me and the hubby talked and decided we would sign her up for preschool. Its only from 8-11 in the morning so that makes me feel alittle better. Cause my girls have always been with me . I'm not gonna lie I'm prob gonna cry on the 1st day maybe the 1st week. But she is super excited! I will continue to pray over the homeschooling and schooling in gereral for my babies! I want what is best for them and I want them to learn , and enjoy doing it.
Please keep me in your prayers when Avery starts on Aug11th... And pray that my baby will do great and not be too nervous and be a light and blessing to others that she will be around!!!

God Bless,
Heather
