Operation loose weight: Update!

Well its been a couple weeks now that I started this challenge and it has been going good.

I downloaded the my fitness pal app and have been counting my calories! It helps so much seeing how many calories are in things we eat and how many we should really be taking in. I really didn't have any idea some things had so many calories in it and how many calories I was really taking in , in one day! So that is my number 1 helping tool right now. The hubby has been doing the same thing. I also have been drinking a slim fast shake (well walmarts off brand) for 1 meal a day. Normally my lunch. I started doing a zumba video and was doing it everyday, but have slacked off doing it like I should. I have lost some pounds though... Drum roll please....................................................................................................... lol

I have lost 8lbs in 3 weeks. I will weight myself again Monday to see if there is more. But as of last week I have lost 8lbs. I am super excited that what I am doing is working and helping me get this weight off.

Also I went to the doc and had to get an ultrasound done.. They said everything with my overies checked out good ,I had a couple little cyst on them but that's normal and they normally fall off. She said they were proud of me for loosing the weight that I have and to keep up the good work =]

 

So... Im going in the right direction and Im super excited !

Keep praying that I will stick to this and loose the weight and we will be blessed with a healty baby! Hopefully a healthy baby boy but I would be super excited either way! =]

 

Here is a pic of us last night on our date night.. yes I had a cheat night and ate an ice cream at Marble slab =] I need to be rewarded sometimes right. I can notice some difference in my face getting smaller and in my waist. whoo hooo! =]

We got a new roof!

We got a new roof for an early Christmas present from my parents!

Thank the Lord!

 

My father in law came over to help jake put it on and Im so greatful for him and his time helping us whenever we need it.

 

So greatful for loving, caring, giving parents and in laws!

Later that week me and jake put on the roof on the porch. it was hard with me bring so short trying to hand him the pieces. But we did it and it look so good! Love making this house a home for our little family!

Operation Loose weight!

Today I went to the OBGYN, a new doctor for me.
I have to say I love my new doctor. I have been wanting to switch since before I got pregnant with Annaliese but had some anxiety about switching to someone new. But I love my new doc.

We have been trying to get pregnant with baby number 3 over the past 5 months or so and nothing has happened. I haven't had a menstrual cycle since July and we were kinda concerned about it, so I made this appointment after having another one last month with my original doctor. But it was def over time for me to switch to a new doctor .

Well the doc told me today that I have something that is caused by being over weight. Yes Im overweight and I feel Blah about myself but I didn't know it would stop me from being able to get pregnant again! So here we are... gotta loose 10-20 pounds in 3 months is my goal from my doc.

She is giving me some meds to make me start and then after that I will have an ultrasound on my ovaries and all.

Pray I can loose this weight and wont have to take any meds to get pregnant.
But she seemed really confident that if I lost this weight that I would get pregnant pretty soon after loosing it.

I have been wanting to loose weight but loose my motivation so easy. Well folks this is def a good motivation for me.

So here we go! Operation loose weight feel great has turned into operation loose weight so a new baby can bake ( in my belly that is) lol just made that up off the top of my head! lol silly  me. OR break free (of weight) so we can have baby number 3! they just keep coming! lol

But for real! We are praying for baby number 3 and Gods perfect timing with everything! He knows what he is doing and sending a new doctor into my life has brought me such a comfort. She is so sweet, down to earth, and took time with me.

Our 1st Alabama Game

So my parents were so sweet and bought me and my hubby , my bro and sis in law tickets to the Alabama vs Ol Miss football game. (an early Christmas present) .You might be saying , but Heather aren't you an Auburn fan. Why yes I am , but I am not like crazy fan statis and just Hate bama. Me and my hubby both root for each others teams when they are not playing each other. So you can say we are a fan of both until the Iron bowl! lol

 

Well we asked my inlaws if they would be able to keep the girls for us and they said of coarse. So we were super excited to be able to go to our 1st bama game.We really didn't know what to expect and where to go. But we got there in good timing and talked and laughed the whole way.

 

We arrived around12:30 or so to Tuscaloosa. We found a parking lot we had to pay $40 to park into.. which is crazy crazy but the closer you got to the stadium the more the parking was. We were about half a mile from the stadium. So not to bad. We headed towards the stadium just walking and taking everything in. We got to the stadium and took some pics infront of it . We were staring so walked back to get something to eat down the little main road there. We ended up at waffle house lol . Every local little place was jam packed and was at least an hour wait. So waffle house was a walk right in and sit down . We left there and headed back to stadium to wait on the football players to arrive and walk out of buses. Well we didn't know we had time to go look at other things before it , so we waited an hour to see them and didn't even see like the top name players. We saw Coach Saban from the front of the bus when they pulled in but that was it.

 

We found our seats and were so surprised at how good they were. We had awesome seats! So we were even more excited now! They had a pre game show and it was so good! They made a shape of an elephant and made it look like it was walking, and spelled out bama. Super good!!

The game starts and the crowd is going wild! It was so loud in that stadium! We were on the same row as the press box and all the cameras. If you are looking at the stands and you see the skinny long tv screen that goes around the whole stadium we were right above that. We actually had a drunk girl that we were scared for her life because she kept leaning over the edge yelling at people and hitting the long skinny tv screen. She was def entertaining and nerve racking the entire game. But I was so glad I could take my Dslr camera in but I could only have a certain size lens on it. So other words No Big Zoom lens! But I still think I got some pretty good pics.

 

When Ol Miss would get the ball the whole stadium would yell out until they made a play. I guess just a distraction on the other team. It was extremely loud! And everytime they would kick everyone would say Rollllllllllllllllll Tide Roll. It was such a fun experience and we would love to go back to another game. We said if we go back we would want to get seats around the same section cause now we are spoiled with how good the seats were. And we were under a covering so we were in the shade ! Oh yeah!

We Won the Game! Alabama: 25 - Ol Miss: 0!!!!!!

 

After the game we walked back to our and got out into the traffic! Needless to say it was horrible! It took us 2 hours to go 15 miles! Yeah I know Crazy right! And we almost got rear ended but thankfully they went off on the side of the road instead of slamming into our back end! We stayed in Hoover, so we finally get to our hotel put our luggage up and googled somewhere to eat that would be open that late! so IHOP it was! 5 min from us! So we head there and eat and come back to the hotel and crash!

We got up the next morning and headed back home ! We stopped and picked up the girls from my inlaws from the Bay minette exit .They said the girls had a blast! They played outside , went to the park, and just had so much fun!So glad they had fun and so glad they were happy to see me when we picked them up! Both of them were asleep and Avery opened her eyes and I was right there infront of her trying to get her out of their truck and she smiled and looked and me and said hey momma! It was so sweet! Then we were homeward bound!

 

Dropped my bro and sis in law off at their house and decided to take the girls by the local park that was on the way to our house. They loved it and were surprised we stopped!

Then headed to my parents for a little while then finally home!

 

Such a fun trip and so glad we were able to go and experience it! Def would love to go back to a Bama game and would love to go to an Auburn game also!

Mother's Day 2013

Here are some pics off my phone from Mother's Day! We don't have Internet at our new house yet so I can't show all my pics off my camera yet! But these are super cute too :)

Started my morning off by waking up to my hubby making me choc chip waffles and coffee! My fav :)
Then Avery handed my my present and she was super excited to show me the cards that her and her sister made me! Love them! I'm always a sucker for homemade things :)
And they got me a photo album it had a sweet saying on the front!

Well we left and went to church! They gave raffle tickets to all the mothers when u walked in so I got one :)
I was eyeballing the prizes sitting up at the front of the church! 3 beautiful wreaths! I was wanting to make one for our new house and when I saw these I thought up myself I really hope I win the yellow one! It's so pretty! (But I don't ever win anything so I never thought my number would be called) sis Jamiee gets up there and starts the raffle and who's number do they call first?? Mine!! I was so excited and I got to pick which one i wanted so the yellow one was it! Yay!!!
After service we took a couple pics of me and the girls at the front of the church and then headed home.
Changed clothes and headed to my parents to see my mom. She was the only one there .. My dad was helping my bro and his fam move. We gave my mom her flower pot , balloon , cracker jacks, and cards! She loved them!
From there we headed across the bay to the in laws! We got there and gave my mil her gifts which were a wreath a made her , a balloon, and her cards. She loved them also. We let the girls play outside in the sand box, took some pics, jake and Avery played "soccer" , and we ate some yummy dinner!
It was a great Mother's Day!

I'm so happy with how it turned out! So thankful I have a hubby that helps my visions possible :)
All we had to buy was the sink and faucet !! Dresser was given to us from my parents and we had left over stain and poly from other projects from our other house!!

Date night with the hubs

Had a fun date night with my hubby last night . April 12,2013

Well had an eventful ride over to take the girls to the inlaws.. We were stuck in traffic for 2 hours!!! Something happened on the bay way so we were stuck!!! We finally made it to where we could get on the causeway and made it into daphne and that was no better! Stuck there!!! So we finally made it to the inlaws house and dropped the girls off! I had to meet someone for my mom at Burris and then we just went down that road into daphne to get back on the causeway! Well that was a horrible idea! Took us an hour and a half to get from the target in daphne to the interstate!! We were so frustrated! Our plans for the night were already getting messed up and pushed back because of all these delays! Not a great way to start date night! Well we decided to wait to eat after we went to the movies cause the movie started at 8 and it was already 7 getting back on the interstate to come back to mobile! So we headed to the movie me sulking in the passenger seat cause of the 4 hour delay and my sweet hubby saying it will be ok we are still on our date night and let's look at the positive! So we get to the movie theater and get some popcorn and a drink ,which I must say are to expensive! It's so good but just so expensive! We say "Oz"... Being a huge wizard of oz fan my whole life I thought man I'm gonna love this movie! But sadly I was sorta disappointed! Thought it was gonna be so much better! And they had 2 or 3 cuss words in it and that was a peeve! This is a pg movie! Kids will come watch it! Don't cuss!! But anyways! We got out of there and went to pickle fish to eat and they had a little "band" playing! It was a guy with a guitar and a guy on the bongo! They did ok, but I was so glad to have this time alone with my hubby! Bad night turned good thankful to a hubby who just wanted to please me ! Here are some pics from our dinner!
