Easter 2013

The night before Avery wanted me to lay in her bed and watch a movie with her.. So I snuggled up beside her in her little toddler bed and began to watch a movie. Well lets just say I was super tired and fell asleep in my big girls bed. I woke up to the movie still on and her passed out beside me. So I carefully got up (she likes me to lay beside the wall) and snuck into the office to make their easter baskets. We had told her that the Easter bunny was coming and she needed to stay in her big girl bed all night long.. well sometime in the early morning she snuck into our bed. Annaliese woke up 1st and she looked at the baskets and said "OOOOOO" lol it was so cute. We said Avery yall have presents in here ontop of your toy box! and she sat up in my bed out of a sleep and said Presents! lol Jake said we just need to tell her every morning we have presents for her so she will get up that fast and in such a good mood! lol (my big girl is not a morning person at all-- like her momma! lol) (Annaliese on the other hand is like her daddy)

They had so much fun looking at everything in their baskets and yes.. I let them eat their choc easter bunny for breakfast lol along with daddy making choc chip waffles.

Well we got dressed and headed to church. We are attending Lucedale Church of God now and are loving it and all the super sweet people there. 

We can home right after church , well right after a quick stop at Wayne Lee's to pick up some rolls and a dessert. As soon as we got their we got the whole family outside and took some pictures. Then it was time to change and EAT!! Yum yum.

After everyone finished eating.. me and my mom went outside and hid all the eggs.. 100 to be exact. lol 

We were like man these are alot of eggs but after the hunt began we could have used some more. We have 5 kids hunting eggs this year. All everyone of them LOVED it. This was Annaliese's 1st time she was able to hunt them and she had a Blast. It was so cute to watch her carry around her easter basket on her arm and look so prissy. 

Tara and Eli were running everywhere together and kept trying to get the eggs before the other one seen it! lol I tryed to play the your getting hot or your getting cold game when they got close or far away from an egg.. but they didnt really get what I was doing lol 

Avery was so funny she would say AN EGG... and run for it. 

Well we had so much fun at my parents and then it was time to head over to my in laws house.

We got there around 4:30 and they had already hit the eggs. The girls opened their baskets 1st and they loved the big bouncy balls they got. Avery said look momma a Ball and Annaliese said BALL!!!!!!!! lol 

then we went outside and let them hunt eggs. Annaliese got more into this time and started running after the eggs when she seen them! it was so cute! 

Then we ate some fruit and yummy fruit dip and dyed easter eggs. We do this every year with them even before we had kids =] Its so much fun.

The girls loved it. Avery wanted to do every egg and Annaliese wanted to dip the soon in the cup and lick the vinager water off of it! lol Well she only did it a couple times and we took the spoon away. She also tried a boiled egg and she was not a fan! lol 

Pop finally got home from work (where they worked him over and they werent supposed too)

And him, jake, and Andy moved some of their couches back into their house. 

We ate pizza and cupcakes !

That was our fun Easter Day! 

Remember He is Risen thats why we celebrate that fun Easter day!

Thank you Jesus for dieing for our sins and raising from the dead to be at the right hand of the father!
