The Lew Crew: Averys 1st Dance Recital

Avery had her 1st Dance recital on May 2,2014 at Davidson High School. Her dance studio is GraceLines Dance Studio. Her teacher is Miss.Sieanna. Avery had such a wonderful time this year in her ballet class. She learned so much and loved her teacher. She also loved that her 2 best friends were in her class her cousin Madeline (Madi Boo) and her bff from church Madi. The girls did a great job. And they were so excited! We had alot of family and friends come watch our girl and show her that she was so loved. We loved this dance studio because they are a christian studio and have great morals and modesty.

The only thing that I would have to complain about would be that we had to get there at 5:30 and stay until..... they had rehersal before the recital, and we had to be in a little room with 3-5 year olds.. They were not very happy being in a little bitty room and their dance was only 38 seconds long (another mom timed it) and in the 3rd act. So they were very restless and I would have loved for the dance to be longer... at least a minute long. They girls were saying I wish we could have danced longer and we said the same. I know they are young but to pay the money and sit there from 5:30--- until, it should have been a longer dance at least or the babies should have went first. It would have been better also to have rehersal on another day so the littles didnt have to be there for so long. But other than that we had a great experience with the dance studio and the recital. Avery loved ballet this year and we will see what she wants to do next year. She loved it so prob gonna say she will be dancing again and her little sister will join her. The next day we went by Nannas and she had flowers for Avery for her 1st recital.(she wasnt able to come and she was so upset, but I told her I would show her the video and pics =] )
